F250 Instrument cluster broke?
I have a 99 F250 . 7.3 Truck .
Truck seemed to eat rear abs(speed sensors) that's all fixed now. Anyways whenever the sensor would go out I would lose all speed info. Now the speedo goes up to 40mph ,and stops moving. If I go to 60 on my gps ,and set my cruise it will stay at 60 while the dash says 40. The truck has been calibrated for tire size via auto enginuity.When the speed sensor would crap out the cruise would not work at all. I'm wondering if the cluster is junk. Any opinions or ideas? I hate having to use my gps all the time.
The best idea I have is to plug the AE in and see if the trucks computer says faster than the dash does the cluster is bad. Any good reasoning?
