How far can you take the 7.3

How far can you take a 02 7.3 and still have safe towing? like 20k towing. Where should you stop with mods?

intake, exhaust, GAUGES And chip with at least a good tow tune. You can take it a long long ways. Easily 4-500k I'm sure (with proper maintenance)

i've heard if your hauling anything over 10k to run a stock setting, which i can understand because ive seen 1200 egts and killed a transmission running stock while hauling 18k.

i shouldve been more specific...im about to have all the basics (intake, exhaust, gauges, tuner). I meant how far past these should you go? Not engine life....basically where should you stop modifications?
