Info help

I am new to diesels, just bought a 1999 f350 with the 7.3 powerstroke diesel....what engine is this? can someone educate me on my truck.....

I am looking for what kind of engine, I have heard of Cummings, Detroit diesel what engine is in the ford f series trucks?

Welcome the manufacturer is international, it is a member of the T444 family. Overall great engine, the 7.3 powerstroke is one of the longest lasting diesel engines on the road. IT is a hand me down, kind of, from heavier trucks and equipment. You will very much enjoy your engine!
