4r100 line pressure stock numbers?
I have been posting about a clunk in the rear end. I recently replaced it and 95 percent of my issues are fixed. Before I bought this truck the tranny was rebuilt. I have no idea what was done, whether good or bad. I was told if line pressures were increased that can cause the minor clunk i hear when i put it in reverse or drive, makes sense to me. How do i check the pressure? the little port above the linkage? Whats stock pressure supposed to be? whats higher pressure? This would be checked in park I guess, because thats the rpm when i stick it in drive? This should be worth checking????
