plastic vs. metal, plastic wins

i started tearing down the motor to find the oil leaks that are puddling up in the valley and i noticed this. it's where the heater hose wrap was rubbing against the intake tube, anyone else had this problem? should i put JB weld on it or get a new tube, it doesnt look like it's went all the way through yet.

I'd leave it as is and ziptie the wire loom away from it so it doesn't rub against it anymore. If there is no hole in it, I wouldn't do anything to it.
