I pulled mine and it helps the turbo to light a little faster (for me anyway)

I removed mine too, I have a tuner and wanted all the boost I could get.

It does seem to help the turbo spool faster when unplugged.

I have a 99 F-250 When I nail it at top end I get a zinging sound. Sounds to me like its comin from the turbo. any ideas?

Anybody else have input about the WG being disconnected?

In regards to the zinging sound, mine does the same thing. I have an 02 PS and when it is at high rpm the turbo does make the sound. My guess is that it is normal on those. I'm not sure what makes it do it though

No this is something that just started happening. I tried it again earlier. When she gets up there it's like the turbo drops out and i loose power. once i left off the gas it all goes back to normal and then i hear the turbo wistle again.

I'm kind new to diesels but don't you a boost fooler when it is doing that. It sounds like its defueling, but if I'm wrong someone will correct.
