What are the towing specs for a 2001 PSD?

I have a 2001 f-250 PSD, Reg. cab, long box, RWD with the stock 3/4 ton axels and the 4r100. Can anyone tell me what the max towing weight is? I'm using it to tow a 16' tri-axel trailer with hydraulics that probably has a curb weight of around 3000 pounds. Thanks!

Hey, just an update....I was WAY off for the trailer weight, I personally have never seen the trailer up close and it's ALOT bigger than I thought with a real heavy built frame, it actually weighs close to 2.5 tons so around 5500 pounds, its a beast, and its the dry weight of the trailer im referring too. It 's also got the pintle hook attachment (wish it was gooseneck). I'm starting to reconsider buying it, only because it would be alot of wear and tear for nothing when she's full. I've seen some 6.5x12' hydraulic dump trailers that weigh maybe 1/3 and could haul nearly as much. Here's a link to the big 16 footer:

Let me know what you guys think...personally I think its too much, but to each his own, right?

You can tow 3 of them at the same time... or is that 3000lbs
of tongue weight?

Really need a better definition. Total trailer weight and tongue
weight. Brakes? 5er or tow behind?

total GCWR is 20k. 10K max TT, more for a 5er or gooseneck. subtract the weight of the truck from 20K and that is what you can tow for a 5er or gooseneck.

I have towed a trailer that weighed 16K and it did really well, of coarse Ford didn't rate it for that!! Around here you should see what the 7.3's tote around!!!

just because they can doesn't always mean they should. i pull a 5er that weighs in at about 14K, i would not want to tow any heavier even though i could. Putting my wife and kids in unnecessary danger does not appeal to me.
