Guys I was expecting a much worse up pipe removal!! Some say 5-7 hours. Well boys I've done it in 15 minutes( pulled turbo last night)!!! I pb blasted the bolts and took off the bottom bolts. The up pipe seal was so bad that I didn't even touch the top bolts, the y connector just slipped off! My bellowed up pipes will be here tomorrow!
That's about how long mine took as well. Just going back together wasn't as fast. Haha Leave everything loose for going back together until everything is together then tighten it all down.
x2, the v band clamp on the turbo was the only real thing that hung me up putting it all back together. Leaving the up pipes lose at the manifolds is a MUST. Otherwise its all pretty easy.
no, tighten the Y to the drivers side pipe and slide it in, than slide the Pass. side in, than bolt and tighten it to the Y. start the bolts down on the manifold but leave them real loose. Thats how I did it anyway. If there even is a way to tighten the top bolts after the turbo is in, im sure it would be a bearcat
