Fuel Pressure Regulator??

Just a quickie question..The engine has a build date of late 99...just where is the Fuel Pressure Regulator located and how hard is it to replace if the vehicle is sitting in my driveway?(figuring I'll throw parts at this thing til its fixed..cheaper than Allegheny Ford..at least til I get it down to Scott)

The fuel filter is the big plastic round cover in the front center of the mtr, on the right side of the fuel filter you will see it attached with a couple of bolts, and a line running to it. Easy to get at.

Hey BC, I looked all over this thread, and couldn't figure out what you were talking about hahaha, then saw it at the end of the first post. Thought you were starting to talk to yourself.

Sorry Howard, probably confused you the way I started it out, I was just giving a reference point for you.

Gord.

Gord, sounds like you know your 7.3's. i have a '00 ford superduty f 350 diesel, the fuel filter has fuel spraying out from a plug in the back side of the housing, two wires plugged into a plastic block. What is this block and will i need to replace the whole housing?
anyone?
Scott
