Hmmmmmmm? Now that I have read the entire thread, I think I'll just break down within a block or two of O'Reileys or 'da Zone!

Here is what we got so far;

CPS
ICP
IPR
PCM
IDM
O-ring kit
Computer diagnostic tool (maybe a predator programmer)
¼ and ½ Socket and wrench set with the special deep 1-1/8 for the IPR
A 3,000 psi gauge with hose and fittings for the high pressure oil
A 100 psi gauge and fittings for fuel pressure
Spare fuel filters
Extra gallon of engine oil
Extra gallon of tranny fluid
Water
Work clothes (mechanics overalls)
Hand cleaner
Small hand tools (screwdrivers, prybars, etc)
Full set of fuses
Jumper cables (extra heavy duty)
Electric air pump (12v compressor)
Elec and duct tape
Tow strap
Small rope/straps
DVOM (digital volt/ohm meter)
Wire
Triangle/flare kit
Spare keys
Spare tire key (if your truck uses one)
Tire plugs and plug tools (this goes along with the 12v compressor)

This is good stuff, please keep the suggestions coming. I want to hear what yall think should be included and why and what yall would personally leave out and why.

I want to be prepared for most any trouble with my truck or my trailer.
I believe this will be way cheaper than the bill from an out of town mechanics shop doing “emergency” repairs, not to mention probably quicker too. I have heard many horror stories of several thousand dollar bills for repairs that I would bet the owner could have fixed with a good emergency kit.

Only trouble is that places like that usually can’t get or at least don’t stock just about every part on my truck. I walk in and ask for a part and their eyes stare off into space as their jaw drops open.

Great list. Looks more like you are planning for the Zombie apocalypse than the average breakdown though Through a couple guns in the toolbox you would be set

how about a decent first aid kit to treat the knuckle busters/burns you'll get during your roadside mechanics?

Oh Dave, that is taken care of, there is always a 45 in the door pocket, 380 in my pocket and occasionally the AK’s and the AR are in the back.

Thats another good idea. I have one in my camper and one in my work trailer but one in the truck would be nice too.

Excellent Idea. One of the kits wallyworld sells for 10 bucks would be adequate for that.

My EMS kit goes with me on every trip

One other thing I want to add to the list is my laptop computer with my wireless internet card so I can connect and go here to ask for advice or help. And my Ford Factory Service manual CD.
