Adding cruise to ?late 99 manual

Hi Everybody,
I have what I believe to be a late 99 F-250 w/ 7.3 w/ 6-spd. It is pretty bare bones and doesn't have cruise as it seems alot of the manual ones don't have.

For long-distance towing I would like to add it in. I know you can get aftermarket kits, but just wanted to see if it was possible to easily add factory part for cruise.

I don't really care if it looks factory or where the buttons are, just preferably want it fairly easy & cheap. Any ideas?

One other question. I have a 10klb GVWR trailer I am going to pull. It is 2 5/16" ball. I have noticed that most of the balls and receivers for this are listed as 6000lb max. I guess I need to go ahead and find one that is rated for at least 10000lb?

Thanks, Ross
