Whats your Boost numbers?

I got an 01 powerstroke that I bought monday,jus curious what kind of boost numbers u all get wit 2000-03 7.3liter with stock turbo?

With a stock engine and a healthy turbo you won't see more than 15-17 lbs of boost. With tunes 25-30+ is very possible. However running the stock turbo above 25lbs can be devastating to the longevity of said turbo. I hope this helps.

Wastegate unhooked, 80hp econo tune on the DP, and I've seen 25 under the right conditions....

On my tw daily I see 25 max if i push it, i soooo rarely do that... I dont feel like breaking something expensive.

Stock truck with stock everything and no tunes you will see around 15 - 18 just depending on elevation and conditions.

I could pull upward of 25 psi before I had tunes- early 99, stock turbo and sticks, wastegate tightened down as tight as it will go and red line unplugged.
Now tuned I can run at 25-26psi all day long if the road is straight enough and can peg the needle on my 30lb gauge if I get into it hard. Still stock sticks and turbo, plugged the red line back in and running DP tunes.
