Filtermag?

I was looking around, and I came across this website; FilterMAG: Magnetic Oil Filters finish the Job Your Filter Started.

This company makes a magnet that fits halfway around motor oil filters and is supposed to cetch material as small as 2 microns, and thus holding this small material against the wall inside the filter. Anyone ever try this or even heard of it? Not that I was going to try it out but was just curious after seeing all the bypass filters, etc. etc.

Never tried it. Sounds possible though.
