Question about replacing the up pipe gaskets?

I was just curious on how tight am I suppose to tighten the up pipes when changing the uppipe gaskets using the Car craft SBC gaskets I am putting my 4" turbo back on and I figuare that is the perfect time to change them I already have the up pipes back on it and the one on the drivers side was easy it just stopped tightening up. The one on the Passanger side which was the one leaking tightened up pretty good but I could tighten it somemore but I am scared of breaking a screw in the manifold. I don't think it will leak now but with that side being the side with the down pipe on it I would rather not have to take everything back apart because it worked loose.
