One way to do it would be to intercept the power wire from your solenoid straight to the starter and put in a high amp switch. My buddy had the on his 85 Mustang. We just hid a heavy duty push-pull switch inside the front grill and when he parked it, you just walk by, push the switch and no start. you could turn the key nd everything would happen except the starter cranking.

another way is to find the relay that goes to the starter and break the power to the relay coil. This way you can hide a small switch somewhere in the car.

Probably should also do the fuel pump relay. They can always hot switch the starter if everything else is powered up.

It doesn't make sense to me to try to break the heavy Battery (+) lead going to the starter!!

MUCH better to switch the wire that energizes the starter relay as others have said.....

You can also put a switch in the CPS wire, this will keep it from starting, but not from cranking.

that sounds like the best bet, you could do both the starter and CPS, theres not maybe people that could get it to start if you did it this way!
