Power Steering Leak

I have a line on my powersteering pump leaking. It is the line that is on the right side of the pump as your looking at the pump from the front. I don't know where it goes. But I need to find out so I can get the new line.

Can someone please tell me which line this is.

Does it go to the steering gear, or to the hydro boost, or is it a return line.

It has a pressure fitting on it and it threads into the pump.

If it has a right angle fitting and a short length of metal tubing, it goes up to the passengers side of the hydroboost.

It is on the comes off the driverside of the powersteering pump. Goes along the frame rail, I have not looked hard enough to see where it goes. Because I had to get to work.

I am trying to find out which line it is so I can order it while at work. So I can pick it up tomorrow when I wake up in the morning. So I can fix my truck before work tomorrow.

I know it is bad to keep bumping your own post. But I just don't want this to get buried. I want to be able to order the part online tonight so I can pick it up at the local parts store in the morning. Right now my truck has no power steering or power brakes.

I'm not sure what the part number is. but call your parts store or the ford dealer. they should be able to look it up on there computer

There are 4 lines lines.

Pump to Hydro boost

Hydro boost to cooler

Cooler to pump

Pump to gear

The one I need to know which one is the one that threads into the pump on the right side of the pump as your looking at it from the front of the engine. It goes along the frame rail. But from that point I didn't have time to look to see where it goes.

It is the one going from the pump to the hydra boost.
