Source for high quality winter front for an 01' X?

Well, it's been cold here in the Mile High City for a few days only 63F right now - make me wonder if we'll get our first flurries in September instead of by Halloween this year. Time to start getting the trucks ready for insanely cold winter temps.

I need a winter front - the cardboard in front of the radiator thing isn't working for me anymore

winter grill cover

I too was looking for a winter grill cover and could not find one that I liked so I created my own. You can see from the pics it is adjustable and it does not cover the air intake but I did make a cover for the intake opening just incase it got way cold. This one is made out of a simulated leather. My next one will likely be quilted like a big rig cover. If you like what you see, let me know and we can work something out to get one made. I am not an expert on the various grills but they look like they are all the same size. Let me know if I am wrong.

Nice work! Is that made out of vinyl? I'd make my own out of pleather if I had a walking foot - unfortunately my industrial machine is not a walking foot. Maybe I should experiment and see how it does. I'd be interested in hearing what you'd want for one - same color is fine. No need for an intake hole I removed my oem intake.

it is made of pleather. I had it on last winter and it weathers great. It doesn't stain and cleans up great. It did make a huge difference last winter. I dont know if you would need a walking foot to sew one. I made this one on my wifes sewing machine. Currently I fasten it to the truck with velcro but I was thinking about snaps for the next one. I just don't want to jack up my grill with holes for snaps.
