Dome light has a mind of its own!!!

I have had this problem for a while. My dome light seems to stay on after I shut my doors, it seems to be mostley effected by the front passenger door.
You shut the door and the light stays on, drive until it shifts into second and it goes off. Then brake and slow down and it comes back on.

This is getting real annoying, especially when its dark out. And it does not do it all the time???? It has a mind of its own.

Help me please, can I disconnect the switch??? Where is it???

I second this. I had to do it to mine last year and has worked with no problems since.

Yes, I agree, but I used white lithium grease in a spray can- will last longer than WD40
