What would you do?

Ok guys here's the question, if you had $10,000 to spend any way you wanted to on your truck for upgrades what would you do? Everything on the motor is stock except a superchips programmer, air intake, and itp boost fooler. I had to replace the HPOP about 8,000 miles ago and I think Ford sold me a 15* instead of the 17* that was on it. I say that cause it seems to want to idle real low almost stall after driving at idle speed then stopping. But thats beside the point, I had plans on replacing the tranny and maybe the gears (from 3.73's to 4.11's). It's a daily driver, I pull a 18,000lb 5th wheel trailer from time to time so I want the power and I've been known to romp on it a little to when not pulling it. The truck specs should appear next to the picture or on this post. Thanks!!!

I'd rather do motor and drive train work mostly. The truck is about done as far as looks go. The pic is an old one.

i would do 4.30 gears instead of 4.11's than a nicely built tranny and converter, turbo upgrade for towing. not sure if you should get injectors if its gonna be a daily driver and used for towing alot. oh yeah, def get a tw or dp tuner instead of the superchips and get rid of the k&n air filter.

Ok, that all sounds good. I started by just looking at an ATS Stage 2 tranny, then add the billet flex plate. While on there I seen they had an Intercooler and trans cooler upgrade. I also looked at their Stage 1 Injectors but I'm not sure if I want to go that far, like I said I still want it to behave on the street. What do ya'll think about the ATS product line? I'll take any suggestions for who to use for this stuff.

A properly built and bombproofed tranny should be your first purchase since its a towbeast. Thatll take most of half of the ten k right there. After that, its up to you what you want engine wise. Yes, dump the superchip and the KnN and start fresh with a REAL chip and intake. Personally, Id coin up for a complete fuel system revamp, DIY hybrid sticks, and a Big oil HPOP or at least something like an Adrenaline pump next. Then, if I had any cash left, Id save it, add to it, and get a nice turbo and headstuds after that. ON EDIT. Theres better choices than ATS. Just sayin.

I would do a John Wood tow master tranny, Custom chip, and lockers. Then go on a vacation with the rest of the money.

i would spend the $$ on my tranny first partly cuz it needs it. then spend a few $$ on a chip/programming. my bed needs a touch up also.

Thanks everyone, that all helps a lot. The $10,000 was just a nice round number, I'll spend whatever it takes since I don't have a wife to answer to, haha. I'd rather invest in this 7.3 than buy a newer one.
