Opinions on these codes
My truck is running fine, but I feel a slight miss around 900 rpm and sometimes under lite acceleration. It also has started to get worse fuel mileage and some power loss. It runs like a raped ape when i put my rite foot to the floor but under lite acceleration it feels a little under powered. It also throws greyish smoke instead of solid black. ABOYANDHISTOYS (Brandon) was a great help and did a buzz test. It came back good and he also did a contribution test and it came back with p0269 and p0284 I am thinking that possibly the copper washers on the injectors wore out, but am not sure just wondering if any one else has any input on this. I fully intend to do a compression test when I tear into it. I dont expect to find a problem with compression though because it is not smoking blue at all.
