swapping plow frame?

Hey...

Anyone out there ever install their own plow frame on a 99-03 f350? I'm taking it off an 03 gasser and putting it on my 01 7.3. I have the Fisher instructions here but wondering if any of you have had personal experience/tips to share. -Looks like I have to remove the stock link bar and bumper? is this all that needs to be removed....how about the radiator and stuff?

Also the 03 has a couple bolts on each side of the frame (full boxed part) which don't seem to be pre-drilled on the 01. Seeing the frame is full box in that area, are these just self tappers?

sharing any of your experiences would be helpful.

thanks!
