oil guage as fuel pressure???

I have a 0-100 psi auto meter oil pressure gauge. Can i use it to test fuel pressure? Would diesel harm it? Wont do it more than say 10 minutes?

for 15 dollars you can buy a small 1 5.8 gauge from your local speed shop. i wouldnt run it for long periods of time but they are great for testing. i have 2 of them and they work great

I know, ebay has a lot too. I just wantedto check fuel pressure on ittoniteand i have an oil gauge. I would think it would work. Fuel is an oil. money is toght. I need to buy new e brake pads, 2 tires, tranny fluid.So for now i wanted to test it with what i have if i can??
