Broken Line of some sort...

Hey gents,

I was installing my AIH delete plug yesterday and just kind of looking around. I noticed under the plug there is a black vacuum line that was broke. It's almost directly under the line with the red and black line. It's been broke for awhile, and I haven't noticed anything negative with the truck. Anybody know what it could be? I'll post pics when I'm at home.

I just left the office to go look at mine. I couldn't find what you're talking about. I have the red hose (wastegate) and the green one next to it. I couldn't find a red/black striped one under my hood.

Now that I am subscribed, I be sure to check back for the pics and answer. Good luck!

Thanks for looking though.

It's about 4" below the wastegate lines. It was a black 90 degree boot with the black, hard vacuum line sticking out of it. Whatever it is doesn't seem to be hurting the truck.

The only black line I can picture in that area goes to the MAP sensor. Can you take a pic?

I have one on my photobucket, but can't go there on work(govt) computer. I will post it tonight. I would trace the line if I saw the other end. Heater and 4x4 both work.
