have a cat on my 99 want to remove it

My truck is stock. Its a 99 with I think 3.5 exhaust. First, is it 3.5 or 3 inch?
is there any where I can get a piece of pipe like 24 inches long with 3.5 id ends(basically flared) 3.5 inch pipe?
thx

My 2000 was 3" pipe from the turbo to the trans X-member where it bumped up to 3.5 through the outlet. I rather like the smell of diesel exhaust after a cat. I don't have a cat on my 2000 and it smells burnt, of course that could be from the 2-stroke oil.
