FarmBoy Exhaust Installation Help
I have a 2001 F-250 XLT.. Extended cab, regular bed. Does anyone have any tips to get the Farm Boy Diesel Kit to fit around the rear axle correctly. So far I've installed the Turbo down pipe and one of the long sections. It seems like I'm missing something to the correct installation. Also if someone is going to insall a tip, do you cut any of the 4" back so the tip doesn't stick out as far? Any photos or tips would be appreciated.
Thanks |

i had to cut a small section off of the muffler delete pipe on my 6.0l to get it to fit. Fiddle with it for hours before i figured it out.

I had a hell of a time getting my FBD kit to fit around the rear axle. The instructions, if followed exactly, are wrong and result in the hump for the axle being too far back. In the end I had to cut the extension pipe down to fit and throw the directions away. Gus was a great help and really likes to be called before you ask the internet.
Once installed, it works great and I love it. I didn't add a fancy tip so can't help you with that. |
