cleaning the engine

whats the best way to get the motor looking like it just came off the showroom floor?

purple stuff, simple green , any cleaner like that works great and a pressure washer , i take me a bottle to the carwash sometimes and use that hot water there , works great

cool thanks... btw my intake manifold has a goldish sheen to it? is there any way to get rid of this and make it shine silver again?
