EBPV Delete

Okay need some advice. I purchased a stock turbo with the ATS housing from another member. I have a 1.0 A/R turbine housing I bought from Gus with a Wicked Wheel. I plan on using this turbo and pulling mine to put on the shelf for a rainy day. While I have the turbo off Im thinking of removing the EBPV. What do I need exactly for the mod? Do I need a non EBPV ped? The other option I guess is to just unplug which I have yet to do. I need the pro's and cons and what I need for the install thanks

Phone one of the vendors and see what they have to say about it. I would just get the non EBPV pedestal and be done with it. I believe it removes some of the restriction as well. hope that helps you out buddy.

Thanks Gord. Yeah I have been scouring other forums trying to find the correct way to do this. I will do that from what I have read if its done wrong you will probobly burn up your turbo from lack of oil, so I want to do it right

I think I found the right way waiting on a pm right now. You need the non ebpv ped and a new turbine outlet. I will post up everything when I find out for sure.

That is the way to go about 100 bucks apiece plus 2 sets of orings and an EBPV Terminator for your electrical plug for 30 bucks or so.

So you have the ATS inlet, and an outlet plus the WW, the non EBPV pedastel,and the block off kit for it. Sounds good, when will you get the new parts?

The non EBPV pedestal and new non flapper plate will be shipped out on Friday. I still havnt received the turbo with ATS yet. I am debating on a rebuild, but I guess I will have to see what condition the turbo is in. Hopefully I can get this all done in the next couple of weeks. I will take pics and let you all know how it goes. Wish me some luck
