Spare Tire Key

I have a 2003 F250 7.3L, When I bought it in August it didn't come with the spare tire key. I don't need to get the spare off but it's kind of annoying and I think I'm just gonna cut the cable, but before that I was wondering if anyone knew were I could buy one. The local dealership said I had to call some special Company to get another one.

A junk yard maybe.

I went through the exact same thing but luckily I had the dealer call the previous owner and he found it. The odds of u finding one at a junkyard are slim since there are many variations. Whe I called a dealer to see about replacing it, they said Id have to have the part number that was on the bag that the key came in or otherwise theyd have to replace the whole assembly. Before they actually found my key, I did carry a hacksaw in my truck jik.

Is it something a locksmith would be able to reproduce from the lock?
