Exclamation Parking Brake problems! Help!!

Well I adjusted my parking brakes on my truck and they hold great. I have a problem, the parking brake light only comes on when it wants to. I will push the parking brake pedal down and the light won't come on. It sucks because I like it to go on high idle in the morning but if the light isn't on it won't. Please help. Thanks.

check the connections to the switch under the dash by the park brake pedal, they could be lose, or the switch itself may be lose. good luck.

Where is that switch located at, or the connection anyways?

Under the dash, near the top of the park break pedal, Its a contact switch, with wires going to it. When the brake is released, the contact is closed and the light goes off.
