i would just get a new dip stick to be on the safe side. i dont remember which engine had the recall on the dipsticks

all powerstrokes use 15qts

if you put in 16 itll just burn it off nice move

last i check, my truck doesnt burn oil or turn it black. but i have had to put 16 in cause after a change with 15 it droped down to half on the dipstick
