Using oil

last week my 99 f-550 quit running checked the oil there was none on the stick. so I changed the oil and filters. I have used a gallon in a weeks time. last night I pulled the charge cooler tubes off and found my oil. does that mean I need a turbo. what else should I check. the truck still runs great has good power its just using oil.

How much oil did you find there? If you haven't done the CVC modification to your intake before you'll see some oil coating throughout the cooler tubes from the blow by of the motor. How much oil did you find and was it on the pressure or suction side of the turbo?
