totally man. the engine them selves (the block) is a iron horse. but certain things on a 8500 pound truck are going to wear out, especially if you work it. thats just how the cracker crumbles. my dad has a 95 with 230 on it. all hes had to replace is the damn water pump. and batteries. lol. so who knows man.

Yeah, I had a 1990 F250 IDI and nothing ever went wrong with it. I don't know if it's the extra power of the powerstroke or if they just started making them crappier.
