Just turned over 60k, got a couple questions.

Hi all,

Well I am loving my truck that I have had for the past 4 months. I am a first timer to powerstroke and diesel. So I just turned over 60k in my 2000 and was wondering what some good maintenance tips might be out there other that what the manual covers for the different millage maintenance steps. Any tips that made your life easier in the long run basically.

Also I am on about a 3000 mile road trip and am able to finally get this truck to stretch its leges after being trapped on and island with less that 50 miles of road. As I am driving it seems like I am constantly getting flown past by other diesels and powerstrokes a like. Especially up hill, im not towing any thing and I try to watch my temps, egt not going over 1000 when climbing a hill, and the trans temp never really an issue so far. I have 4 in exahst turbo back, TW Chip, Tymar intake, pillar gauges for watching my temps. Am i just babying this truck or is there something I need to do to improve it. Thanks for any help you got.

60 k thats still just getting broken in. just keep up with oil and filter changes and it will be fine.
