quick question

i just got my wicked wheel installed and i love the sound of the turbo =] if i do the foil delete how much more turbo noise will i have?

you wont get more whistle, but you will def hear it whine when you jump on it. you just hear it once it spools, it really whines tho haha, id do it.
If you care about how it looks, then itll take a while, but if you just go at it with a bench grinder itll come off pretty quick.

I used some texacol, wd40, carb cleaner, steel wole, chemdip, just about any chemical i had sitting around in the garage haha.

wow that was a pita! im glad i got it over with, got all the glue off with some chemical and im about to go drive it =]

I took my foil off with Bio diesel. Peeled the bulk off, slathered the BD on, left it for about 45 minutes, came back, wiped it down with a scrubbie sponge, then a towel, and BLING!

well im pretty happy with it, with the new wheel i would really hear the turbo on the freeway when i would step on it, now with the foil delete i can hear it in town when i hardly step on it
