Our 01 has a 4R100 which has been holding up good. An upgraded 4R100 seems to handle extra power. Upgrades like a billet converter and valve body.

I am looking for a 6 speed manual along with the pedals and stuff to swap one into our truck. Keep me posted if you want sell the manual and associated parts.

Hey, I stumbled into this conversion by Brian's Truck Shop when I was looking at their auto transmissions.
