trans question

Ok all the talk about using tuner and they don't control trans well or at all. I have the edge programmer. Been reading that the edge pgmr tears up the transmissions. Don't know how true that is. Is there any waything I can use to program the transmisson for better shifts. Was thinking of the trans command.

Don't have $$ to buy new tuner yet so don't tell me about the DP or TW tunes. I need a cheaper solution right now that will save my transmission.

I would really like to get the on the fly switchable power but it's in the future.

Cheapest: remove edge, save money for DP or TW...

Kinda joking, but...

I put off the DP for a while, and finally just said the heck with it, and let myself put the cost of it on the credit card... wish I'd have done it sooner.

I know this might not be what you want to hear... I hope someone has a responce more along the lines you asked for.

I would just remove the edge and run stock until you can afford a custom tuned chip and a valvebody

or do the valvebody first..... then the chip when funds allow

take the edge off, sell it, and get a transgo shift kit. you should have money left over to go towards a dp or tw
