Cab Roof Lights

I installed my cab roof lights today that I got from Recon. I ordered the clear lens with amber LEDs in it. Thes are not oem lights. They are a new line of lights he turned me onto. Since I didnt have clearance lights already, I ordered the new wiring harness for these from Powerstroke shop. This harness takes the place of the existing harness that runs the overhead computer, and lights on the visor mirrors. The install was not that bad. You just have to make dang sur of your measuring before drilling!! Here are a few pics of the lights after installlation. I am tivkled with the way they turned out.

I took these pics just before dark, and right after dark. I am satisfied with my results on this project.

Shane

Looks awsome buddy. I really like the clears. Yup, now you wont be the only truck on the next convoy without marker lights.

I like those better than the stockers. Will they swap out with stock SD lights?

NICE!! I've been thinking of replacing mine w/ either the clear or the smoke. I was leaning toward the smoke, but you've just thrown a wrench into that. Now I'm back to square one not sure what will look better on my white dually????

Hey Derrick, These are a different style and shape all the way around. They are a sealed LED unit. If you have the stock lights already, Recon(and others) sell the clear or smoked lenses that will swap out with your amber ones. They are about half what my lights cost since I needed bases and all.

Hey Shane... they look good..

Now that I have Recon's website.. I may just have to order the super white lenses for mine.. Don't know why I like them, maybe cause they are different.
