Damn I was hoping to be done spending $$. Will the new fogs have the same wiring harness and just clip in?

i can look tommorow. all the parts for my conversion are in the garage. the cheapest i found new fog lights was on rockauto.com i think the were around 60 bucks shipped.

If I wanted to just swap out my '99 grill out for an '05, would this be possible to do without any modifications?

Not without modifications. You can modify a stock 05 grille by cutting the bottom. There are threads on here explaining how to do that. There is also a vendor on ebay that sells grilles that are already cut to do what you want to do.

ok im doin the conversion!!!!!


are all the 05-07 front bumpers have the color plastic on top? so in other words i have to find a white one since mine is white.

That's an awesome writeup you did. This should be a sticky. I guess I'm gonna have to hop on the train and do a 05 conversion along with everyone else. Certifit does have some great prices. For everyone that is doing this look there for prices first before you hit up ebay.
