Thanks very much for the detailed write-up first off.. Im just waiting on my insurance check then im doin this swap. Here is what im going to get, let me know if i need anything else..

1. a set of harley lights $170
2. 05 chrome grille $185
3. 05 upper bumper $125
4. 05 lower bumper $285
5. 05 fog lights $80

the headlights are comming from ebay and the rest is a quote from a parts store arround here. they said they are new parts, not sure if they are ford oem or not, it really doesnt matter though. do these prices sound good?
i am planning on modifying my original header pannel.. anything else i need let me know.. thanks

i almost forgot, what about the black plastic piece at the bottom of the bumper? do you think that would be included with the new bumper?

The plastic molding at the bottom of the bumper isn't included with a new bumper. you will also need a set of bumper brackets from an 05-07. They are about $35 each on ebay for aftermarket. You will need headlight wiring pig tails, or conversion harnesses. You will also need assorted fasteners. I bought a box of body bolts, and clips to bolt everything together.

Thanks for this write up. i just asked about these very questions over on Forddieselpower.com.

I am looking to finish this conversion onmmine once i return from Afghanistan. I am also looking to get my parts from Certifit.com. much much cheaper than on Ebay.

Where did u get the box of body bolts and clips to bolt together? I am still needing to find bumper and brackets.

I got the bolts from my local Fastenal store. I'm sure Napa has them too.

The headlight wire adapter came from Stealth Automotive. Raul at Stealth does a lot to support this board. I think they were 20-30 bucks. I know it's not necessary, I just didn't want to cut up my wire harness.
