Post Headlight and Mirror Change

My 1999 front headlights are gitting very foggy from the years and i know it can be cleared up with that cleaner, But my question is can i put the newer style head lights on my 99?

Also i have Auto Mirrors but they are so small.... I think anyway, I would like to go with the manuel size but keep the Power Mirrors option, can I also use the newer years mirrors on my truck?

All of the stuff you are asking about is available on e-bay or through the suppliers, you can get the power extending , markerlight, heated ---etc. There are also some really cool aftermarket headlights, clear marker lenses, you can even get the 05-06 grills aftermarket to fit your truck. all it takes is money---lots of it sometimes, but its all out there.

The links above will show you the grills and the headlights, and thats a good price on the lights. good luck with your search.

Gord.

the newer power mirrors should work with your switch, you may have to rewire it though if the connectors dont fit each other.

There will be an issue w/ the mirrors - I think one has a square connector and the other has a circle connector. I'd suggest asking someone who has a similar truck to yours and finding out what they went with. It may be easier to run pre 2003 trailer mirrors because they don't have the light and aren't heated.

The brand new headlights will bolt up similarly and work in your current truck. You'll want to buy the upgraded harness as well. I used to have the part #'s but hopefully you'll be able to find them. I'd get the lights off ebay rather then the dealer and the harness off there too if you can find it.

Yeah the heated and lights on the mirrors would be a plus, but i really just want to keep power to adjust them.

I saw on Ebay lots of different new style headlights that look pretty cool, but I didn’t see the exact new style.
