2007 Headlights on 2000 f350?

I saw an auction on Ebay for 07 Harley headlights with the H13(i think) plugs to convert to the older superdutys but it says some cutting will need to be made to make them fit. What needs to be cut to make them fit and how hard of a job is it? Thanks!!!!

You need to cut the header panel. The 99-04 headlights use a different header panel compared to the 05-07. You can either buy the 05-07 header panel, or cut some of your stock one out.

You will also need to get a harness to convert from your 9007 to h13.

How hard is it to cut the header panel? I think the auction came with just the h13 plugs, would you be able to just splice the h13 plug to the old harness or do you need a new one all together? Thanks for the help!

Its not hard too do, I did it about a month ago. You will need to buy some adapters to convert the 9007 to H13

theres a right up on here somewhere

EDIT: Pics from a right up by Hoss350

here is where you need to cut

and from the other angle

Yep not to hard. If you are looking at the auction by headlightdepot on ebay, i just did mine that i got from them. They come with the harness for the lights. You just cut , splice , bolt in , and get some new hardware to hold the top mount in. I bought the plastic push-loks. Their stuff does not come with cut directions , and I never looked on here to see what needed cutting , but not to hard to figure out. I had to swap turn sockets out as my factory harness did not mate to their socket. Easy enough .

Ok maybe I'm a little slow but I got some Harley headlights to convert my 04. Will the bulbs from the 04 not connect to the 05 headlight assembly? And I'm not talking about the bulbs. These lights didnt come with bulbs. Do you hav to convert to h13 because the 04 won't connect to the 05-07 headlight assembly?
