My HIDs are wired wrong.

I bought my 2000 f350 and one of the previous owners had HID headlights installed. Problem is the brights are always on unless I turn the bright switch on. If I do that, they go to normal running lights.

Anyone know how I can fix this so I don't have to turn my brights on to shut them off?

There are 2 wires that are installed backwards in the plug. I can PM you my number and tell you how to fix it.

That'd be great.

Usually its the white and blue backwards but not all the time. Test the stock plug to see which wire is hi, low and ground. Sometimes they send a 9004 harness so blue is ground. Just make sure ground is correct then its easy to fix the other 2.

Yep, that's the plug. Two of those wires are backwards.

Cool. Thanks again. It was raining all day today so I didn't want to mess with it but I will tomorrow.
