Will 2001 F350 headlights fit with a 2005 front clip?

So I've been thinking about doing a 2005 front clip conversion on my 01. I've already got really nice headlights, and don't want to buy new ones. My question is will they fit properly? No huge gaps or anything? They're projectors with halos, and I really don't want to get rid of them.

Maybe. What brand of lights? Pic? Did you have to trim your header panel to make them fit?

Yes the 99-04 lights occupy the same space the 05-07 lights do. So your aftermarkets will be fine.

But you have to use the 99 to 04 support so you will have to mount the bottom of the 05 grill using zipties or etc.

They're Spyders I believe, and I did have to trim the header panel to make them fit. I guess my main worry was the way they would match up with the grill, doesn't look as rounded as my 01, but I guess that's just me.

The 99-04 headlights and 05-07 headlights have the same contours and shapes as far as fitment to grills fenders and bumpers go. No issues there. Header panel to grill fitment is a minor issue, one easily solved with a few unseen zip ties.

I cut the header panel when i do a conversion. The 99-04 panel won't let the light recess enough so you have to cut out quite a bit to make it fit. When i'm done the 05 light bolts up like they would in an 05. 2 screws on top, 2 on bottom.
