Kool vue mirrors- can't adjust up & down!

Just finished installing the kool vue mirrors, fit great, glass doesn't shake or vibrate.

Driver side connection match up as in the how to stickie, I can move left to right no problem, but no up and down. Same with the passenger side, no up and down adjusting.

Anybody have the same problem and know the fix? There's some extra wires as well in the loom and not sure what them are for

Yea they're for OEM mirrors and these are aftermarket. After searching extensively, it seems this is a common problem and nobody has really updated the threads with the fix. Can't find a wire diagram anywhere on the net.. Just emailed kool vue I'll see what they say.

Did your stock mirrors have the same issue? I don't know if they are the same brand but when I installed my 08+ mirrors from A1, I couldn't move them down or the left. I ordered a new switch from LMC and now everything works.

No I didn't, the up down left and right worked just fine. I'll just order one anyway, after seeing many threads on different forums, seems a new switch is the fix.

A1 auto has a conversion harness. Might be a little late for that, but if not its definitely a good option for a clean install.
