Front end pictures

I want to see if anybody has a picture of their 99-04 truck with the 05+ headlights only. Not the bumper and grill....only the newer headlights.

I want to see what it looks like....thanks

The 05 up headlights suck..get 04 clear ones. The H13 is quite possibly the stupidest design for a bulb ever foisted on the public. The terminals are so small that they overheat, even at stock wattages, and melt the plastic housing of the connectors. Higher than stock wattage bulbs are offered but not recommended .

Get 04's and add a Hella harness and their 80/100w 4k Kelvin bulbs..fantastic!

Strongly agree. I "upgraded", and my 99s were about 3 times better lighting than these H13s. But I am going to go to HID soon.

But I must say, the 2005 headlights look 100x better than the 99-04 set. So it's a win/lose really.

And a member on the org, LOOSEWHEEL, he has a 2001 but did the 05' conversion...looks awesome

man those look great, I need a set but got other things on top of the list first. And they should be pretty bright if you put some Sylvania Silverstars or a set of decent HIDs like 4300K and adjust them so you dont blind everyone.. or get a set of nice off road lights and your set...

Thanks guys, and thanks for the pics Matt. Yeah I would like to do the 05 upgrade, but really don't have the money to do it all with the grill and the bumper and all, so I was thinking of just doing the lights and I wasn't sure how it would look with only the lights. It looks pretty good. Wonder how it looks w/o the grill insert.....hmmm

they look awesome and I had the 02 headlights in. These 05's are clearer and wider and definitely look better then the 02+ headlights.

Before.

After. (got the little wheels and tires on for the track)

I have this grill and painted bumper top (like in the picture) to go on my truck next here in the garage.

I know what to do to get the light sin there, what I couldn't figure out was how to get the grill on there without buying the bumper....
