08+ nose conversion

I think i caught a picture in one of the diesel mags about a guy who did an 08 conversion on an older (99-04) body style. seems like a lot of work, but i think it'd be worth it over the 05 look. anyone here done it, or have any info on it?

99 F-450 Crew Cab
DP 80E/80T/120R
ISSPRO gauges - auto conversion - built trans & billet triple disc
EBPV delete - Wicked Wheel
zoodad-aih delete-ccv

i had the dealer do it, they also did the interior and put a new motor in for me. it cost me 25000 but it was well worth it.

If it were me and I wanted a fresh look for the front end I'd just go with the tried and true 05+ front end.

Performance: SCT Xcal-Innovative Diesel, 4" Turbo Back Exhaust no muffler and kitty missing, Spearco IC, ID Power Elbow, AFe Stg. II Intake, 03 Turbo.

Looks: Westin Black Powder Coated Bull Bar, Recon Smoked Cab, Mirror Lights, and 3rd Brake Light, 4" Superlift kit, 35" ProComp Extreme A/T's, 18x10 Diamo Black & Chrome Rims.

I'd have to say, 25G is quite a bit. any good body shop could have done it for half that. I'd be interested to see what all the sheet metal costs.

i hope you understand i was just being a wise guy. i didn't have a conversion done. i was just reffering to the fact that i traded my 05 in for an 08.

Costs ALOT...I was going to do it to my 2000 Excursion...not worth it IMO...but cool none the less.

As far as actual HP numbers I have no idea. It don't snap your neck but.....It feels good.
