Anyway to make our hoods open like the 08s?

Is there any way that we can mod our trucks so the hood and grill lift up together like on the 08s and like on the Dodge trucks? Maybe the 08 hood latch parts. Im assuming that there is a metal frame for the 08 grill that mounts to the hood and the latch attaches to it. Anybody got any ideas?

i guess you could do it, but youd have to hack the **** out of the header panel and everything, might be kinda cool to see, but why?

what about the hood latch? Would have to rig a cable or something to open the hood, LOL.

I would guess it makes the front end structurly weaker also... All those coolers up front... get in a fender-bender... cha-ching!

Dunno, cant figure it out...one thing though it gives easy access to the radiator on the 08, which I've seen 2 failures on so far on the same truck.....hope Ford's not making them easier to work on

Because when you work on the truck it is easy to damage thre grille on the 07's and below... I always remove mine so I don't damage it. but then again you hit your head on the 08 ones.. LOL

With your list of future mods, I'd say it would be a lot easier to just buy an 08 or 09.
