HIDs...need some help
Hello to all. I recently changed my 99 heads for the 05 type, but I gained in appearance and definitely lost in brightness!
It was a good thing I had fogs in before the swap... Anyways right now I'm running silverstars in my headlights and just stock halogens in my fogs, as you can no doubt tell in my avatar. The silverstars help but if I had HID fogs, along with HID headlights I'm thinking it might help me out. Right now I can pretty much have my brights on and get away with it when meeting another car. Just wondering what's out there to suit my needs, and what you guys would recommend. I'm aware of bi-xenon, but a little lost in the whole HID world. And another thing I was wondering, how tough are those ballasts? (the shiny boxes I see so often) Thanks guys |

for the brightest light you want to keep it in the 5k color temp range....
most kits are low beam only kits.. Bi xenons are good if you want a Xenon high beam but most of the time you cant run both unless you do the bright box mod..... you would need H13 headlights and H10 fog lights... do you already have the 9007 to H13 conversion harness? i assume yes because you area already running H13 bulbs... if you have any questions let me know -Raul |

the bright box mod basically makes it so that you can run both high beam and low beam at the same time... that will be very bright.... also allows you to run your fog lights at the same time too... -Raul |

Thanks for your help Raul.
So will these blind other cars if I don't need the high-beam?
