new bumper and grille 99 f250

Im considering having a custom bumper simillar to the one in the picture made for my truck on a plasma cam but wasnt sure if im biting off more than i can chew. Im not sure of what thickness or type of metal would be best and if anyone has done anything similar before or has any suggestions. Im also thinking about making my own grille like the one pictured with a custom emblem as opposed to stock setup but i dont know whick one i like more. This is my truck how it sits right now. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly aprecciated.

Personally I think the aftermarket grille would look better without all the studs around it. For the bumper, most aftermarket bumpers are usually 3/16'' or 1/4'' or a combination of both. 1/4'' for winch mounting area and 3/16'' for the rest. Mounts are almost always 1/4''

Yea i was thinking about maybe putting some of this mesh type stuff behind my stock grille and maybe hiding some small light bars or spotlights behind it.
