Large Rear Window Decals?

Hey guys.... I run my own website, GouletFilms.com. I want to put a large decal across the rear window of my '01 F250. But I have a rear sliding window. So I'm wondering if anyone has put large decals across these 3 piece windows? Obviously the decal would have to be cut into pieces to work properly. I'm just looking for opinions and advice on doing this. Let me know, thanks!!!!

Here's an example of the decal I'd get done, except it would be white instead of black.





What do you think? Any input is appreciated.

I have had a multi layer (2 color) vinyl decal on my rear window for several months now. Of course I do not open it, but it has been through hand washing, automatic car washes, etc and no problems as of yet. Professionally installed, wasn't about to try myself.

no fair Eric, i did not get a decal like that with my SCT purchase....LOL

I had one on my truck for a while.

I had my buddy install it since he does lettering, decals, etc.. on the side.

Installed exactly like DKR's


We were worried about it sticking to the plastic at the edges of the slider....but once it stuck, it stuck as that was the hardest part to remove when we stripped it earlier this year.

So were we...but I haven't lost even the smallest piece yet. Also helps when using the good thicker vinyl. I don't go to shops that use the cheaper thin stuff anymore.

I should add.....I never opened the slider either. Which is nothing new since I've never used it in the 7 yrs I've had the truck.

Thanks guys!!!! Yeah, if I go ahead with this, I won't open the rear slider either.

But those pictures DKR posted pretty much have me convinced!!! That looks awesome!!!! I'll have to get some "professional" help install it too, I'd be too scared to mess it up.
